The girl was an enigma to all the other inhabitants of Wonderland. Stranger than any of them because she was not an inhabitant of Wonderland, instead she was something else, a memory of someone who once travelled the lands now known as Wonderland. She did not seem threatening and she certainly did not seem to be dangerous but there was something about her that made any near her instantly wary but at the same time her presence seemed to soothe as well. She looked to be around a scant 7 years of age.

Her hair was neither short nor long but at the curious length between the two so that it fell down past her shoulders but not quite to the middle of her back. It was a magnificent shade of pastel blue that was nearly the colour of the sky on a clear day. Her eyes were a bright dark purple that seemed to shine with inner light and happiness. Her pale rosy pink lips seemed forever twisted into a cheeky grin. Her skin was a lovely golden brown, tanned from the time she must have spent playing in the sun.

Overall, she looked petit and delicate with a hidden strength. There was an insane vitality that seemed to brighten her appearance and give her the ability to bounce from place to place without pause. She was a light to all around her, even if they could not understand it. She seemed to breathe the airs of life and energy.

Her clothes were strange and exotic, highly unusual in Wonderland. Around her forehead was a pair of heavy looking goggles fashioned from thick glass and dark brown leather. They slipped down all the time, stopping briefly on her nose before sliding down even further till they were resting around her neck. She wore a messy looking stained formerly white dress shirt that seemed to have been made for a young woman rather than a child as it fell almost to her ankles. She wore a pair of heavy black boots which almost reached her knees and never seemed to be done up, the long laces trailing behind her like four black tails. She wore a brown leather vest as well which hung loosely off her small body and was almost hidden beneath the heavy brown leather bomber jacket adorned by patches of fruit, cakes and guns. Like her shirt, her jacket hung almost to her ankles.

She never stood still for a moment, bouncing hither and tither around as moved books from one shelf to another with never a care for order or organization. She was the terror of the library at that moment, rushing from one shelf to another only stopping to push her goggles back to the top of her head. She giggled and leapt around, almost like a ballerina at times with books balanced precariously atop her little head.

"Tick, tock!
Tickety, tockety!
Thus shall chime the broken clock!
As Time did make you nice and strong,
Now Time shall silence your song!
Tick, tock!
Tickery, tockery!
As I made you to sing the Time,
Make it all the same, a rhyme.
Now I charge you to be still,
And let Time do as will!!
Tick, tock!
Tickiny, Tockeny!!"

It was sung in a youthful, high voice of joy and childish delight. She fell silent at last and smiled like the cat that got the cream before shoving one last book on a shelf. Then after a moment of uncharacteristic stillness she dashed away, giggling like a meddlesome little house spirit.

There was a pause.

A potent stillness.

Two minutes of painful silence.

Then, a crash.

There was another and another and another and another.

Finally there was a harsh scream of indignation before the horrified outcry of:

"NO!!! FOR THE LOVE OF CAKE!!! WHAT THE DARKNESS HAPPENED!!! You, YOU!!! I'll KILL YOU!!!
First off, te goggles were made by AmbassadorMann here on Deviant Art. This is the link to the actual deviation - [link]

I like the look of them, even if they are remotely like what I imagine Mini-Time's goggles to be like.

Secondly, here are some explanations on that final outburst:
:bulletblue:For the love of cake” the equivalent of “For the love of God” because there is no God, only the mysterious Fifth Queen in Wonderland
:bulletblue:What the Darkness happened” the equivalent of “What the Hell happened” because there is no Hell, only the Dark Realm (commonly called Darkness) that lies beneath actual Wonderland
:bulletblue:The one actually shouting this is the extremely territorial cook at the Castle of Hearts, and everything must be perfectly ordered there. No one but he is allowed to touch ANYTHING in there.
:bulletblue:He also looks like a starved wolf and has terrifyingly long canines.
:bulletblue:He is screaming from the bottom levels of the castle where the kitchen is and we are listening to him screec from the top most room of a tower. My god the man has a set of lungs.
:bulletblue:And in case anyone was curious, the crashing was dear Mini-Time throwing pots and pans around and painting the walls with tonights dinner. She is a troublemaker, dear Mini-Time.
